The Morgan Out Island series was just your typical
motorboat with sails. They were sold mostly for the
charter trade to be rented by people who valued
room and schedules over sailing performance.

Besides that they are ugly as hell. There's not
much good to be said about a Morgan Out Island.
Around here they're called Morgan Out Houses.

All the Morgan owners I've known have been very happy with their boats. Three of them were long time liveaboards and found them to
be very functional for that purpose.
