There are lots of pistols that are accurate at 200 to 400 yards. There used to
be a target competition called "silhouette shooting" that used metal cut-outs
of animals about 1' or less in size, placed at random unknown ranges of 150+
yards. I had two single shot silhouette pistols, one was 25-70 and the other
was a 243 Bee. I gave it up because there was little or no practical
application for this particular skill, other than shooting prairie dogs, and
bowling pin matches were more fun.
