Default Luhrs 34 Convertible

Am interesed in hearing comments from Luhrs owners - quality, issues, etc.

TIA,
Sandy K.

Hi Sandy,

I bought a new 1999 Luhrs 32 convertible w/ twin Yanmar 300 hp.. I
sold it last year (I have a back problem and will be boatless until I
get repaired) and got a pretty good price for it.
It was good boat, although I had a couple of issues.
I had a blister problem after 2 years and although the warranty
excluded blisters, the factory sent some one to Port Canaveral to
inspect it.
He signed off on the repairs and repainted the hull at Luhrs expense.
I had a transmission fail on the way to the Bahamas and although 2
months out of warrenty, they paid for repairs.
I have a friend who has a 1989 34. The fuel tank failed in 2000 and
the factory replaced the tank at it's expense.

To sum up I was happy with the boat and the Luhrs team was top notch
in terms of service and responsiveness.

Regards,

Clay
