Okay... so the boat is pulled and on the cradle. I'm looking at waterline
fouling which seems to happen with greater frequency and mulitude in salt
water. It's not the beards of weeds that Cappy is used to towing on his
floating garden of a Coronado... but much more than I'm willing to settle
for. I tried 8 coats of hand rubbed wax from the antifouling line up this
year with 4 layers of triple X antifoul along the first 6 inches down.

I'm thinking of a copper strip just below the bootstipe about 6 inches wide.
They have some very thin ribbons available with adhesive backing. I'm
thinking of giving this a try as a way to stop growth and protect the
waterline from damage.

Any ideas?
