Have you all seen . . .
When it comes to a sailboat beauty is more of a function of
how she sails than what she looks like. A vessel with very
attractive lines and traditional teak on white can begin to
look like a real dog if she sails like one.
I can easily afford any sailboat in 100K range but since
my present yacht satisfies me in most every way what
would be the purpose of selling her and buying something
not so tried and true. Besides, small is beginning to make
more and more sense these days with the prices of everything
going up so fast.
It is a pleasure to be able to enjoy the same anchorages, the
same comfort, the similar speed, and colder beer than at
a fraction of the cost of those big boats I see who are having
a real hard time sailing their vessels let alone affording them.

Just as the saying "Only a mother could love such an ugly baby", only an
owner could love such an ugly boat. Did your wife choose that boat for you,
did you buy the first boat you saw, or was it all you could afford?
