The alternator doesn't produce enough power to charge 3 batteries.
BTW: I use an XPS 5/5/5 onboard charger I got from BPS at a good price.

I have 3 batteries on my 16' boat. 1 is the starting battery, and runs

lights and what not when the engine isnt runing. The engine is a 2001 70
hp
johnson. The other 2 batteries are hooked up in series to run the 24v
trolling motor. Is there a way to hook up all three to charge off the
engine? Or is this a pipe dream?
