Thanks, I downloaded all the pdf files and can print them. I also found
a local site that's helpful.

S.Simon - sounds like renewing is way too much trouble with a
bureaucratic blizzard of paperwork and an unreasonable
fee of 95 dollars.

The renewal process is no longer short and sweet. Once you get the
material, make sure you read it thoroughly and fill out all the blocks
and info .... pay close attention to the medical (be sure your physician
fills it completely).
Any missed or omitted info will cause a reject.
I don't know when your renewal date is, but you have a years grace
(can't use the license during that time, but for you that's not a problem).

I may not be a captain for too much longer. I sent in a request for
a license renewal kit from the center in Miami about six weeks ago
and still have not received anything from them. . .

You're absolutely correct - you are an everlasting embarrassment to all real captains!

Hah! The 'claim' was proven a couple of years ago to
the everlasting embarrassment of those who maintained
otherwise (read Shen44, Jeff Morris and that strange

You can't talk to "a captain who's a bully and an ass!"
