Default Need Keel and Rudder

Thanks Doug,

I think it can be had for about $500.00. The hull and rigging are not
damaged at all. My first boat was a Chrysler 26 and it's an ok boat to putz
around in. I'm thinking it needs no more than $4,000 including sails.

It's not for me. There is a sailing club at a local college and I thought it
would make a good project boat for the club if they could find the keel and
rudder.

There is a Chrysler owners group on the web somewhere, try Google.

However,
when you say "this boat can be purchased for almost nothing" you're

looking at
it from the wrong way around. This boat is ready for the landfill, and if

you
want to sink your money and labor into it, then whoever is trying to

dispose of
it should pay you to take it.

The Chrysler 26 could become a nice boat, but it will soak up

approximately 5X
as much money and 20X as much time as you think it will.
