The original pic, saved on a zip drive, was 1,107K. I shrunk them for
quicker DL on the web.

Links worked fine, I think webshots may seem slow because the image files
are quite large. For comparison purposes, I downloaded one of your images
and it was 66k, my digital images average from 150 to 500k, some of the
scanned images are over 1mb. If you're trying to access just an
album(large
thumbnails) it might take a bit of time to download, a single image might
not be too bad. I generally don't notice unless the webshots server
happens
to be busy, I have run into that on at least several occasions.

HP Photosmart 635. It's not a ''high end'' camera. But it has 2.1 MP,
and
3x optical, 4x digital zoom. Not bad for $113. I wanted to try a
digital
before spending $400 for a 'good' unit. It seems this is good enough
for
my
purposes. BTW, Mooron recommended it.
Do the links I posted work OK? Webshot seems too slow to me.

Good trip, no drama, nothing broke, strong winds and big waves, had
a
great
time.
Got to try out my new digital camera.
