OFF TOPIC Back Surgery question.
I wish I could get in touch with a friend of mine that had two disks
replaced with a new presses. His back works just like the old original
equipment he was born with. I think he had the work done in Arizona at the
Mayo clinic. He did a lot of research on it and kept telling me that " In
one study of people 10 years after their herniated disc treatment, there was
no clear difference between people who had surgery and those who had
non-surgical treatment". Until he found this new presses that replaces the
material between the disks instead of fusing them together. I am not sure if
it is experimental or being done on a regular basis. He was one of the
firsts to have it done. Right after surgery he was able to walk bend and
move with little to no pain. Send me your email address and will email you
when I get in touch with him.

Today the doctor informed me I have a 2 herinated discs in my lower
back. They are badly damaged and the doctor surgery is my only viable
option. (this is the third opinion)
Has anyone in the group had a back operation? If so, I would like to
hear about your experience(s), both good and bad.
Thanks,
Capt. Frank
