Maybe you're confusing Bill Tripp with Bill Lapworth? In any event, Cal's
had a groundbreaking design in the Cal 40 and thereafter an association with
successful offshore racers, I can't recall ever seeing a Columbia/Coronado
association.with any successful racing designs

Columbia 30 hull molds which were taken from the Coronado
30 model when Columbia bought out Coronado.
