Titanium hull?
Whatever the process, it doesn't seem likely that titanium will ever be
cheaper than aluminum and never mind how difficult it is to work with.
Aluminum sailboats are so expensive that only the wealthy can afford them
now.
Still, it could be just the thing for high dollar ocean racers.
There might be some advantage over the carbon fibre composites now used in
the open 60's, even if they didn't build an entire hull out of it.
