What do the Asatruar generally think of "Gays" and why?

I was having lunch at a local pub on Monday with a friend of mine and an
old friend turned up with his [male] lover - both as camp as a row of
tents. My friend, a sworn homophobe, asked me, in awe, "Are they
smudgers?"

I don't know what an Asatruar is.

And I'm still not sure what sailing, flonking or religion have to do
with it, but I'm fairly certain it's possible this wonderful language
has made allowances.

No one else does either. Just enjoy teh ride!
