Hey,
Yea there is a lot of crap here I wish they would find another place for all
the drivel, it's kinda like net terrorism, a few wackos ruin the ability to
have a valuable resource for sailing related topics. But you can do what I
do, killfile about 90% of the posters here and every once in a while
something useful pops up.
Anyway, I'm a member of the BSC. Glad you had a good experience there. Did
you consider posting a note there, either on their new members only
(thankfully) news threads which applies to students as well, or on the
riverboat? Seems to be there are always people around there, some currently
under-employed or retired or with flexible schedules looking for an
adventure at sea. You might get some experienced help in return for beer or
cover expenses. Certainly less then shipping the boat, and possible from
someone you could learn a lot from.
I do hope you're not trying this by yourself, not a great idea, especially
if you're in a hurry.
Regards,
Inten Ost

I came to this site looking for help with a dream of sailing I want to
thank
the ones that did !!!!!!! and to tell you that I went to boston sailing
center and learned to sail also took advanced sailing and tuseday Iam
driving down to va. and sailing my new boat back to nh. I throught when I
came to this site it was for SAILING and what did I find here ,,,,,,I'll
just have to say that it's not a sailing site at all I think most of you
should get a life and leave the site to poeple who want to sail and use it
that way and Iam sure that you all know who you are ,,,,if you guys really
knew about sailing then you all would have helped but the sinde remark and
all the talk here that has nothing to do with sailing would'nt be here so
go get a life or try sailing
