speaking of gardening and cats...

ok. so i bought this catnip plant at home depot, and i name it
stanley, and i stop off at a store on the way home, leaving stanley in
the passenger seat, happy as could be. i was longer than i planned.
and it was a very hot day. and stanley came close to dying, but i
brought him back over 3 days, and he seemed happy. so i chose a
ragged leaf, crushed it, and presented it to The Cat. it was greatly
appreciated. the next day, i decided to transplant it into a bigger
pot, a "3 gallon" pot, cuz it was in this teensie one, and its roots
where screaming GIVE ME SPACE. the task completed, i, stupidly,
placed it alongside the tomato plants and bell pepper. a happy
garden.
the next morning i come out to find the catnip plant smashed flatter
than i could possibly have imagined, and cat fur ~covering~ the soil
in the pot and the plant! needless to say, a hanging pot was quickly
applied.
ace, The Cat, hasnt really moved for two days now...
Exellent story.
