Many things in Christianity were taken from Nordic culture and
stories, Hell is not a Christian concept, it is a mutated version of
Hel, offspring of Loki and the Frost Giantess, Hel was banished the
underworld etc etc, I'm sure you know the rest, the point is a
comparison like that doesn't work, the Nordic stories have more merit
than anything in Christianity does, as they are original (except for
some things which are half-truths and actually happened - though not
like the bible says, like the story of the plagues of Egypt and the
first born sons of Egypt and Ramesess, Ramesses son did not die, he
had his name changed at that point in time, and other things like the
fact Jesus the man was real.)
