Always thought towing a trailer was the best way of touring with kids.
My old man obviously thought the same - we travelled in the back of the
ute under the canopy. Pity it's illegal nowadays.
Heh heh, should have taken you on that red dirt road through the
Menindie Lakes...would have cured you of that. Did it in a ute with a
suitcase in the back. The dust got into a closed suitcase!!
Yeah, know what you mean. I used to go hunting out that way back when I
was a uni student and had decent vacations. Dust as fine as talcum
powder and it doesn't wash out.
Ah well, too nice a day to be indoors.
You betcha, the Seawind is beckoning. I can see her down there bobbing
around in the powerboat wakes on an oily looking river but the breeze
is slowly filling in from the coast...should be a nice day.
Was. Lunch with a woman I travelled south with a couple of seasons ago
that ended up being all afternoon in a glorious Sydney spring followed
by dinner with another woman I worked with in a past life. I've done my
shopping, spent time out on Pit****er, had lunch on the beach and
caught up on my social circle.
Getting close to sailing and it feels pretty good. All debts paid or
cancelled when the shore lines are cast off.
