I've always had good luck dating young women.
Sometimes way too young for comfort.

There's a certain age before they become too
inhibited where older men - much much older -
seem to be OK for certain young women looking
to learn the ropes. I guess they don't feel threatened
because they know there won't be any kind of
pressure on them to commit to anything. They
just want a naughty adventure.

My thoughts on this is age is only a barrier if
you choose to make it one. Sure there are girls
out there where they have a problem with an age
difference. To me these girls are looking for
someone to settle down with, bring to her parents
for Sunday dinner and have the approval of her
friends and not someone to date for sake of dating
(read shagging).

I met this Cuban girl while cruising who on a scale
of 1 - 10 is about a 9. She was hanging around
a dock in Habana so I invited her aboard for a
lemonade. We talked (her English was charming) and
I did a little touchy-feely and she moved closer instead
of away - a very good sign. She looked a bit young
to be legal but what the heck. She was interested
in getting it on, I could tell. I played hard to get
and said I was old enough to be her grandfather and
I should behave myself.

She told me I was incredible. She went on to
say I don't crowd her, I give her her space and don't
treat her like 'hamburger meat". I told her I agree I'm
incredible. I told her if it wasn't for the fact
I like girls so much I'd give myself hugs and
kisses and . . .

Well, we ended up in the v-berth. Turned out
she was 15 while I was 52. Just being honest and
straight with her is what did the job. I let her
be in control. How often does a young girl get
to control an adult male? She looked a little
poor and her clothes were nice but worn so
I gave her 20 bucks. You should have seen
her face light up . . .

So age is only a number to me and a lot of the
girls I've met in various ports. When a girl I date
tells her girl friend how old I am the girl friend
thinks her friend is dating this old man until I
meet her and she doesn't see an age difference any
more.

It helps to stay really slim and fit like I do but it's
more of a mental attitude. If you're older, try it
you'll love the results. Love yourself and be confident
about it and young women will follow suit. I think
they are trained to do it or something. You will find
yourself with good times, good memories with no strings
- just good young and tight company for long enough to
start thinging of heading out to sea again. An older sailor
can't ask for more than that other than fair winds.
