Yes, sir! You've certainly learned to "do the job" which job
includes:
1) extensive illegal dumping of trash and oil,
Haven't done that for 30 years G even before that, dumping oil was a
no-no (cuts into the profits, dontjaknow)
2) presenting a hazard to navigation by not paying attention to the Rules,
G always pay attention to the rules .... when dealing with people such
as yourself, pay close attention to Rule 2 .... shame you don't know the
rules well enough to know whether you are right or wrong.
3) failing to keep a radio watch on channel 16 as required,
Keep watch on 16 AND 13 and frequently other channels for a particular
area .....G but that's beyond your limited experience.
4) not keeping a proper visual lookout by eye and ear 24/7,
EG always slept with one eye open and one ear cocked.....on and off
the bridge.
5) not keeping an eye on the radar screen and accepting 'blind spots',
You wouldn't know a radar blind spot if you saw it. Ever worked with radar?
6) improper emptying of ballast tanks so as to cause invasions of zebra mussels
and who-only-knows what else,
LOL That rule came after my time. Actually would have loved it, as it
would have given us an excuse to MT Ballast tanks of the river mud.
7) carrying paying passengers on ships not licensed for it,
You'll have to explain this one. Only one I know who admits to doing
that, is you.
\
8) excessive use of alcohol and drugs,
EG Only on vacation.
9) constant failure to secure deck cargo and losing containers,
Never worked a container ship.
10) calling the above "doing the job and having fun".
ROFL YUP .... shame you haven't a clue about any of the above.
Yes, sir! You certainly exemplify all that is wrong with motor
boat captains.

(Sailboat Captain who takes it all seriously)
RofL ... Keep trying Neal....all you ever show, is your Novice status.
