I appreciate your bona fides and CV. Ours are that I have a degree in
Education (ancient though it might be), we're both "triple-nines" (my
SAT was 1550), and our girls are 99th percentile, as accurately as
Weschler could measure that sort of thing in first grade. I've
followed the data since the sixties; I disagree with your conclusion.
Current literacy seems to support my position rather than yours.
