Default Express 30 vs. J30

You also can't take a leak while standing up in a J30.
You failed to mention what Express 30 your friends were sailing.
As far as your questions go I would assume since you have friends with one you
know what the draft is. As far as sailing with a couple etc. I singlehand my
Express 30 quite a bit. It's east to trim both the main and the jib from the
helm. By the way I don't have roller furling, lazy jacks etc.
