I got tired of the rotten wood a couple of years ago and made
the seats/locker hatches out of 3/4" Star Board® which is a plastic
guaranteed for life. Expensive as hell but worth it. I will never
have to maintain rotting wood hatches again. Between the two
hatches there is 250 dollars of plastic. (including the cost to
have them custom cut and beveled.

I have to compliment you on the condition of those cockpit seats. Most
Coronados are a splintery mess. At least what I can see at the hinge
