Default A new Lectra-San Question...

So the Lectra-San is only supposed to treat sewage - defined for us
boaters as pretty much only human waste (household sewage contains all
kinds of stuff that shouldn't go in a Lectra-San.

Will barf hurt a Lectra San? I may sound like I am trying to be
funny... and my wife and I are chuckling about it now. But I am
serious about the question.

Barf won't hurt it...it's just another type of body waste. The only
problem MIGHT be the volume of flush water going through it...'cuz the
L/S can only accept about a gallon per flush/treatment cycle...much more
than that pushes untreated waste out. But even that's only a temporary
problem.

Sorry about your gastric problem. I've been there...it's NOT fun!
