Bob, seriously, you should really check for damage by having
a diver look for damage. It doesn't take much sometimes.
A couple of days after the hit I went under with a lite at the slip. I could
feel a small indentation, which may be the impact point at the very bottom of
the keel. I checked the "smile" point and it was the same as before, or any
other C&C smile. I had filled it with a bit of seatex to track and it's still
there, without so much as a paint break at the joint. As marc mentioned to me
in an e-mail, it probably wasn't hard enough to cause trouble. I may be hauling
the boat to install a new trasnducer next week, so I'll be able to get a better
look then. For now...no damage found. Still, I'm glad we retorqued the
keelbolts before launch.
