Default Grizzley's sailing adventures

u r 2 funny bobspit. It's amazing Marc made it home without wrecking
his car, he had to be laughing his ass off.

FYI:

1. Most real sailor try to avoid hitting rocks. I bet that C&C smile
is now a big sh*t eating grin. You better check out your rod rigging
again, it is prone to stress fractures when you shock load them by
smashing into rocks. Also check your engine alignment, motor mounts,
as heavy objects tend to shift under high impact conditions. You
better check out all your fuel and water tank plumbing fittings, they
tend to sheer off when you bash into things. Also you better go ahead
and raise your lifelines to 62" to keep from launching the aliens
overboard while ramming things. Please keep away of from the coral
reefs of the world. Try using a GPS, chart, forward looking sonar,
depth sounder, half a brain ect to prevent future rammings. You might
kill someone besides yourself.

2. Try using a spring line when you back out of your slip if you can
not control your boat. BTW Put the spring on the upwind side, that way
you will not scrape your gelcoat off while pivoting off the dock and
the fender you forgot to pick up on the leeward side.

3. Invest in some good winch handles that you do not want to fly
overboard, that way handle pockets follow.

4. Let Suzy navigate, that way she might sail with you and not be so
scared.

15 miles and what do your get, rock ramming, hullscratching, asa
laughing.

Keep at it blubberboy!
