Yes, but in new Zealand they wear gumboots to do so.

They do that in Michigan, too....wow, we have so much in common with
NZ'ers...i would never have known....(we have 3 sheep that live up the
street...there were more but a neighborhood ChowChow decided to have mutton
for dinner one day...)
