Some dickwad sheriff motorboater tried (actually did) give
a friend of mine a ticket for allowing someone to ride on the
bow. They were coming into dock, the sheriff told him
to get off the bow, and mine friend told the guy at the bow
to stay there and finish what he was doing. The judge threw
it out.
