I
wonder if the Johns Hopkins guy was right about April.

Much about this virus remains a mystery. Lets see if we have to
get the facts through the grapevine or if MSM and social media
will let facts speak for themselves without censoring or
editorializing.

We don't seem to be getting much useful out of Fauci. We just get the
opinion of the week. I suppose the 24 hour news cycle is somewhat to
blame but "I don't know" is a better answer than just making **** up
on the fly while placating the politicians that fund NIH.

You are in no position to judge Fauci's usefulness.

It's really too bad that mask wearing has become politicized the way
it has.

When you have expert advice like we see in that You tube that changed
from "You don't need a mask" to "Wear two" in 9 months it is easy to
be skeptical. Now we have a doctor at Johns Hopkins saying it will all
be over in 2 months and Fauci saying this might last another couple
years.
There are also an increasing number of doctors saying the RNA based
shots (it is not really a vaccine) might have unanticipated long term
effects. I will get the shot when my name comes around on the guitar
but I am not sure it is any panacea. It may be a placebo.

Nope, not a placebo. I got my second yesterday. Today I feel like I walked 27
holes, and have a nice headache. But, I'm told not to take anything for the
headache 'cause it might interfere with the vaccine.

That should go away in a day or two if your experience is anything
like ours. We considered it a small price to pay for taking a step
toward normalacy.

Lips to God's ear. Fauci is not that optimistic. He is talking about
restrictions into 2022. It will give the GOP a helluva campaign plank
if that happens.
I suppose we should take comfort that everything Fauci says changes in
a few weeks to a month.

You don't seem to understand that the knowledge base on COVID-19 is
evolving and what is said about it by those in the know changes.

If it is changing that fast, they don't "know" anything, it is the
guess of the week.
Fauci does seem to be wrong with a lot of certainty tho. I guess you
take comfort in that.
