"Bitter, Trump skips chance to say splashy, high-profile farewell"Now that, folks, is an example of extreme bias. Here's CNBC's headline:"Trump doesn’t mention Biden in farewell address that glosses over Capitol riotand Covid deaths"Another great example of extreme bias. Here's ABC's headline:"Trump releases taped 'farewell address'"Wayne and Harry, do you notice any difference there? Trump has had to put upwith that **** for four years. But, if he says anything derogatory about themedia, he's 'stepping on Democracy'.What horse****!--Freedom Isn't Free!

What's really crazy is that Wayne, a normally rational and
inciteful individual, has joined ranks with a far left instable
idiot.

You're entitled to your opinion of course but I don't see it that way
at all. To me the inauguation signaled a return to adult leadership,
decency and democracy. I would have preferred a moderate republican
presidency but they seem to be in short supply these days, and not
necessarily electable even if you can find one. The so called
republicans that backed Trump's bogus claims of election fraud, even
after countless investigations and adverse court rulings, need to be
drummed out. They are a threat to our democratic principles, which
are far more important in the long run than any ideology. If you have
not yet watched Arnold Schwarzenegger's powerful YouTube video, I
would encourage you to do so.

It's a chilling reminder of just how quickly things can spiral out of
control, and where they can end up.

You've got the wrong country in mind with your implications that Trump would or
could destroy democracy in this country. The military did not take an oath to
the president.

Hitler's brown shirts were not in the military either.

I think that if you take a realistic look at the events of January 6,
you will see that it was a full on attempt to nullify democracy.

Our military is not Hitler' Brown Shirts. Their oath was to Hitler, not to
uphold the Constitution. I doubt many of our military leaders took an oath to
Trump.
