President Donald Trump?s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on Tuesday
argued to a federal judge in Pennsylvania that there had been
?widespread national voter fraud? in the presidential election that
led to Joe Biden?s projected victory.
Trump's other lawyers left the case after it became apparent that
there was no evidence to support such an outlandish claim. There can
be serious consequences, including disbarment, when a lawyer knowingly
makes a false statement to the court. That's why the other lawyers
dropped out.
As a former federal prosecutor, Giuliani should know better.
Some people don't know when it is time to or how to fade into oblivion.
