getting rid of the Electoral College.

Like it or not, the Electoral College is functioning exactly as the
founding fathers intended: It keeps the large population centers from
dominating the executive branch. You may not like the middle of the
country but the people who live ther are entitled to have a say in
things.

Trump would agree with you

Trump's problem is that he alienated too many people in the middle of
the country with his boorish and infantile behavior. It took them a
while to figue him out however.

Seems like a sizeable number in here not only like that boorish and infantile behaviour but embrace it.
Sad...bigly!

Trump's lawyers in his cases to "overturn" election results are getting
their asses kicked by lawyers who are not impressed by the arguments and
lack of evidence being presented. I think Trump is running scared...his
protection from federal criminal indictments ends 20 January and of
course the states are free to pursue him, as they are. I presume Trump
can resign a couple of days early and have Pence pardon him of any or
all federal crimes, as Gerry Ford did for Nixon, but that's no defense
against state charges. Oh, and if Trump, after being tossed out on the
curb, tries to sell any secret or classified info to raise cash, he can
be charged and prosecuted for treason.

Last photos I saw of Trump showed him without his orange makeup and hair
dye. I got a haircut last week and asked the lady doing the cutting how
long she thought it took each day for Trump to have his remaining hair
combed over and sprayed, and his makeup applied, and she said "about an
hour."

Crikey. Herring's president at work, eh? They deserve each other.
