Capt. Neal was a made-up character in case you were
so fooled by the excellence of it all that you can't figure
it out on your own. The good Captain was a writer's
exercise.

Now Simple Simon, another character, is doing his own
thing. Try living in the real world. You'll never make it
as a sailor as long as you can't recognize reality.
