I looked on the IRS site wondering where my money was.Â* We
get our refund
for years direct deposit, our social security checks for 15
years have been
direct deposit to the same account.Â*Â* The site said I was
eligible, but
needed banking info.Â*Â* Sad, they are this incompetent.Â* So
you may want to
check your eligibility and see if they have the bank info.

Mine came through fine.

IRS says they sent mine but I should check with the bank to see if
they have it. I am just going to wait for my next bank
statement. I am
not even sure the bank is open. I doubt I will see it just by
looking
at my balance.

Us modernized folks can check our accounts online.

I guess if you believe, go for it.
I limit online exposure to my money.

Me too. It's between me and my bank.

You your bank and anyone else on the internet who can crack your
security or the bank's.

If I believe in what?

That you or they can't be hacked.

The convenience is well worth the odds.

What convenience? I have enough money in the bank that I don't need to
be looking at it every day.

I pay bills, get my checking, savings, and credit card statements all
online
from the bank. Payments are made by transferring money online from one
account
to another or to the payee - water, electric, gas, credit card, etc.

That's called convenience. Has nothing to do with how 'much' money you
have.

Greg doesn't have to deal with those issues.Â* He gets water from his
well with a bucket, rope and hand crank.Â* He generates his own
electricity on his generator modified to run on methane that he
captures from swamps down near the water.Â* No need for gas.
His car also runs on methane.Â* Learned how to do all this on
one of his Win 98 computers.Â*Â* :-)

(just kidding Greg)

Greg is a loonytarian. As such, he won't buy a new car because
automakers got government help. He won't drive his cars on public roads
because they were government-financed. If he gets sick, he goes to a
private hospital that gets no public funding. His neighbors think Greg
is bat**** crazy, and they are right.
