Default Predictions?

There has been a lot of talk recently about a
novel written by Dean Koontz in 1981 entitled
"The Eye of Darkness".

Some claim it predicts the covid-19 panmedic of 2020.

It really doesn't, but some of the things he wrote
are close.

Part of it erroneously attributed to his novel is
the following passage:

"In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness
will spread throughout the globe, attacking the
lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all
known treatments. Almost more baffling than the
illness itself will be the fact that it will
suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack
again ten years later, and then disappear
completely.

This passage is *not* from Koontz's book.

This actually comes from a book called “End of Days”
by self-described psychic Sylvia Browne written in
2008. (page 312).

The passage in Koontz' novel describes a man-made
biological weapon that causes 100% mortality for
those who get it. In the 1981 release of the book
the name of it was "Gorki-400" and it originated
in a lab in Gorki, Russia. However, when the book
was re-released in 1989, the name was
changed to "Wuhan-400" .

Although not 100% accurate, the two references are
still eerily similar.
