My life really hasn't changed that much since Judy retired almost 3
years ago. I seldom get 3 miles from the house, usually going over to
the FILs for something and she never goes anywhere but out on the
boat. Other than that 99% of my "going" is to a little shopping center
a mile and a half away with Ace, Publix and the pool store. I pass a
Walmart on the way but I am not sticking my head in that mad house any
time soon.
Ace will pull what you need and set it on the curb for you, pay
online. The pool store is the same way but those boys are soaked in
chlorine all day. I doubt much would live in there anyway. My only
real exposure is Publix and I am careful there, not touching much, not
touching my face, hosing myself down with disinfectant as soon as I
get back to the car. They have a person right inside the door wiping
down carts with bleach. I bet those babies rust up before this is all
over. ;-)

With the freezer, we've not had to go out much. Today I have to pick up a
prescription at Walgreens and will use the poop bag trick. Although, they may
bring it to the car.

Wife and I are doing pretty much the same thing. Laying low and limiting
any trips to the grocery store or pharmacy as much as possible.

She takes several medications that I have to go to Walgreens
occasionally to pick up and I use the drive-up window wearing plastic
gloves.

I am lucky. I have a couple of prescriptions through the VA
but all I have to do is go on-line to the VA Healthnet, sign in,
and click on "order pharmacy refills". The VA usually fills it
within a day or two and mails it to the house.

Kinda irritated with a couple of young people I know though.
They hopped in their car two days ago and are heading to
Colorado to go hiking. This is against all the CDC and
state advisories that strongly recommend limiting travel.

Oh well.

I could do the same with Tricare Express Scripts, but I haven't set this
prescription up yet. Once this refill is done I'll do that.

Perhaps your young couple are going to sleep in a tent, cook on a campfire, and
not associate with anyone. Maybe.

If they are actually spending their time in the woods it is probably
OK but they will still see people along the way. I guess as long as
everyone keeps their distance it should be OK. BTW I forgot to look.
Do gas stations still have those poly gloves next to the diesel pump?
I just hosed everything down when I was filling up my cans the other
day. I have that 2% chlorhexadine in a spray bottle in my console.

I've put poop bags in the truck. Haven't seen gloves for diesel but at very few
stations.
