Default Still don't get it

The emphasis being placed on testing is good, I guess
but I don't really get it.

It seems like all it really does is lowers the reported
"percentage of deaths" number as a mathematical statistic
that gives a false sense of security to the public.

It is certainly not having any effect on the continued
spread of the virus.

I think it also may give people a false sense of
security and may even exasperate the situation by
having them think that just because they don't have
it now, it is safe to ignore many of the precautions
to avoid crowds or close contact with others.

To me it would be beneficial only if we were all tested every day and if an
early diagnosis made 'cure' more probable. Also, advance knowledge that we are
carriers may keep us inside more.
