Is that the big one they erected in supposed record time?

Rushing concrete in the winter, what could possibly go wrong?

That's not the greatest of ideas. Though it'll be interesting what the true cause was..

It was a hotel.

The hotel was a seven-story steel structure, built in 2013 and converted to a hotel in 2018,
according to Xinhua. The owner began renovating the first floor in January.

The story I heard was an employee says they were doing foundation
repairs.

The report said Yang had hired workers to renovate two ground-floor shops that had previously been
leased to a supermarket.
Yang reportedly told police that he received a phone call from on-site construction workers on
Saturday evening saying that one pillar was deformed. The whole building collapsed about three
minutes later.
