Classy guy, smart and articulate. Hope he runs again for federal office.

I think his departure is simply a DNC strategy.

The DNC and Dems *don't* want Bernie as their nominee.
He'd face a tough campaign against Trump as he is
perceived as being a socialist.

By having Mayer Pete quit before Super Tuesday, those
who would have voted for him will likely vote for Biden.
Both are considered more "moderate" Democrats. I'll
bet the DNC made a backroom deal with him ... cabinet
post or maybe even VP slot.

I think Warren will stay in the race until at least
after Tuesday, mainly because she'll siphon votes
away from Bernie.

I don't think Bloomberg even *wants* to be president.
He's just pouring money into the campaign, again in
an attempt to prevent Bernie from winning. As a
multi-billionaire, Bloomberg has much to lose if
Bernie gets the nod and somehow wins over Trump.

The rest don't really matter and will drop out
soon.

Biden will be the Democrat's nominee.
If the Dems' were smart they'd have Biden name
Tulsi as his running mate.

I am not sure these late drop outs really affect the vote that much.
The name is still on the ballot and I am not sure how many people
actually will hear that their candidate dropped out. Then there are
also all of those mail ins and early voters. I doubt more than 30-40%
of the votes here are actually cast on election day. They will have
the stats wednesday or so. I will try to find it.
