Sanders and the other MFA people are not being candid about the real
cost. They want people who don't know to think Medicare is free.
In real life you get your part A (80% of hospital bills covered) for
your lifelong taxes you paid. (in real life, the taxes being paid by
every worker)
You pay for Part B (Typically $135 a month) and you still need a part
C policy that can be $350 and up a month for the "no bills" plan and
you also need a part D policy for your drugs.

In spite of all of that, Part A is going broke with 100% of workers
paying first dollar to last dollar taxes on their gross income, just
to cover 15% of the population. What do you think the taxes would need
to be if you were covering Part A-D for 100% of the people with no out
of pocket expense?
When you tell the kids they are going to take a 25-30% pay cut they
will just say no.
