Nah, there weren't any MacDonalds when I was a kid. Back in those
days, the brightest 5% went to university,
That's me
Snap.
e next 10% went to
colleges of advanced education (including teachers college, nursing
etc),
Oh, that's me too!
Snap.
the next 20% or so went to tech colleges, most of the rest got
clerical & unskilled jobs.
Hey, been there too!
Snap.
Those who couldn't do any better became police.
Uh, whaddaya know, another hit!
I never needed to go that low to earn a living. NSW Police - finest
cops money could buy. Except they were too corrupt to even stay
bought, and went into dealing drugs for themselves. On camera. Made
'honest cop' into an oxymoron.
Time to get yourself lottery ticket my boy!
No need. Every day I spend doing the job I wanted, living in the place
I wanted to live, going to sea every year and sailing whenever I have
time, as far as I'm concerned I've won the only lottery I care about.
