Wel, a good fine-toothed hacksaw blade would do the job. Besides,
judging by other peoples' divorces I've observed, losing an entire
finger would be getting off very lightly. Most seem to lose an arm and
a leg :-)
Nearly lost a finger 20 years ago when my wedding ring snagged. I
don't even wear a wris****ch when working on the trawl deck. Too
dangerous. Ditto working on lathes and milling machines.
