I had a near 100 point MGB 1973 Chrome bumper model set to Euro specs. I
swapped out the electrical system and carbs (GM and Makuni) and it ran as
reliably as any honda. Never had a problem. You can do the same to the TF,
just
keep the original parts.
I sold the car for twice what I paid after a short time. Selling it was a
mistake.
