That is a rip off of an old New Yorker Magazine cartoon except the
truck was labeled "cheap white wine".

Not sure what you mean. The picture was taken on the street in Dublin. A real truck, with a real
driver, pulling a real tank trailer. That was the second one I saw while there.

Far out. I wonder what they are carrying? I can't imagine it is
fermented beer unless the bottling plant is not where the brewery is.
I always assumed beer actually fermented in the bottle like home brew.
I guess I should have paid more attention at Busch Gardens.

Didn't know for sure until know. According to this article, it's Guiness beer:

https://www.irishtimes.com/business/...osts-1.3040315

"Ingredients from all over Ireland arrive in Dublin, where the water, barley, hops and yeast are
mixed and brewed. The beer is then pumped into tanker trucks and carried 165km north to Belfast.
There, it’s bottled and canned before being sent back South for distribution."

Cool. Strange process but cool in a way.
I guess that was a sign of Irish solidarity in those troubled times.
They might hate each other but the beer must go on. ;-)
