Stop lights that have turned red. And I don't mean cheating on the yellow light. They just barrel
through the red light.

Heh. Running red/stop lights isn't a thing just around there.

Having a green light is never a carte blanche invitation to enter an
intersection. I always look both ways.

I would hope to hell everyone does!

It used to be mostly old
geezers who were oblivious to the world. Now it is also youngsters,
screwing with their phone or a dash board toy.
I also almost got T boned by a fire truck once that was running about
50 without his siren. He blew that air horn after I was already in the
intersection. (on a green light)
When I called the fire house with a WTF the chief told me they only
used their sirens/horns when they saw a conflict because of complaints
from the neighbors.
