I fail to see how something as sensible as getting rid of
cars and all the pollution and inefficiency they cause can
be called liberalism.

There is nothing in the Constitution that guarantees the
right to own and operate automobiles.

I would really love to see that happen. Get rid of all privately
owned ground vehicles and build some real mass transportation.

How about some fast trains, some people-mover sidewalks,
fancy busses with bars built in, decent subways, etc. It would
be a vast improvement over the present system of mass
congestion and pollution.
