Woke up this morning to find an email from LLBean thanking me for my Sportsmans Luggage order in the
amount of $613.74. That would be fine, except neither of us ordered it.
OK, so the card was hijacked, somehow. Must have happened at the local store, 'cause that's the last
time I used it.
Question...Greg probably knows the answer...Why would someone fraudulently order a set of luggage
and have it shipped to my house? Weird.
Did you actually get the luggage? It may just be a phishing scam. I
would contact LL B directly and ask DO NOT click any links in the
Email. (Never ever)
I called them. The order had been placed only last night at 9:57 pm and the order number in the
email matched the order that had been placed, but they couldn't tell me by whom or how. Weird as
****. Oh well. New card is on its way.
I agree that is strange. They may have gotten to the point of trying
to change the address when they got a question they did not want to
answer. Do you have an account at LL B? (ordered before etc)
===
Another possibility is that they knew you were away and planned to
pick up the merchandise from your door step before you returned.
I tried to order a bunch of **** on Harry's card while he's out of town
but it maxed out at $400 bucks...
Harry has an LLBean card? Hell, I thought he'd be totally against LLBean for their camping and
hunting attitudes.
He buys all of his black socks to wear with his sandals there.
