You do know that Norway's population is just over 5 million people.
I'm Sure they to the best they can with that limitation.
So they need 700 US Marines? They have a decent sized military. Why
the US Marines unless they're

I think 700 recon marines could take Norway.
The Norwegians spend their resources on improving and sustaining the
lives of their fellow citizens. They have relatively small armed forces.
And like most socialists, if there's something they want, they expect
someone else to provide it for them.
Let them train and equip their own Marines.
