When they called her and told her it was fixed and ready to pick up
she brought 6 of her paracord bracelets and gave them to all the guys
at the service counter. She said they were like a bunch of kids
inspecting them and fighting over who got which color and size.

The service manager (the guy I dealt with with my infamous Pathfinder
experience) then tore up her invoice and printed a new one.
All parts and labor were "No Charge".

She was proud of herself.

Nah, they are cheap enough everywhere although not all have the compass,
tiny knife, fish hook and flint. The ones she makes are pretty high
quality though compared to some I've seen in stores for sale.

She just likes making them and giving them away. She made me a couple,
one done in Army camouflage green and another in Navy blue and gold.
They're pretty cool but I don't wear them. I don't wear anything I
wasn't born with and that includes jewelry, rings, watches, etc.


Same here. Maybe it is just our experience in the
electrical/electronic business where it is a "no rings, no watches"
policy.
Besides the damage an unintentional contact might cause there is also
the electrocution and burn hazard. My safety/sun glasses are even 100%
plastic.
