I had a problem with a bad fan controller in the box (over heat alarm)
and I called tech support. The guy was a script monkey moron who was
no help at all. In the end I just moved the wires over to the +12v
from the disk drive connector and made the problem go away.
They sent me a survey. On the negative survey response, I said when I
cancel the account and send the box back, they can fix it then.
The retention department was on the phone the next morning with a
deal. I still may send it back tho. Even at $95 I am paying a lot of
money for 300 channels I never watch.
