I don?t pay any attention to the ?standards? for google groups.
Or much else technical. Google Groups is archival, by it's very
nature, like anything Google ever sniffs. They do respect the no
archive bit, although it wasn't always so. The result is they know
they can't forget so they don't admit to reading it at all. (I bet
they still mine the data).
My "technical interests" for the most part do not coincide with yours. I
have absolutely no interest in Google Groups. I think as a usenet
client, as it were, it is for ****.

I'd do it but it seems that I have him filtered so that he
